Make it step by step
- Step 01
Move out of runoff first. Choose firm level ground, not a depression with rising water.
- Step 02
Set the sleepers flat-side down and press to check they cannot roll. Keep the platform just high enough to clear surface dampness.
- Step 03
Lay the panel across and bind against sliding. Remove sharp points and shorten the support span if it bends.
- Step 04
Wipe gear, seal it in the dry bag and place centrally. Monitor water and relocate if rain intensifies or water rises.
Check before use
No sliding or bending, no splinters touching the bag and no runoff through the base.
Limits of this project
Not a bed or flood refuge. No heavy loads; do not rely on this with rising water.
Take down and restore
Remove gear before dismantling, pack out the cord and restore the surface.
All lashings and racks here are for light objects, never people, climbing or rescue.
