The button stays captured, cord does not cut the fabric and the tear does not grow.

Limits of this project

No people or strong-wind loading. Never suspend a heavy stone overhead. Arrange permanent repair afterwards.

Take down and restore

Unload before removing the button and recover every component.

Practise in an area where building activities are permitted. Bring materials or obtain permission to collect them. Do not cut living trees or dig tent trenches. Take projects apart afterwards.
All lashings and racks here are for light objects, never people, climbing or rescue.
