Make it step by step
- Step 01
Divide equally with similar moisture. Label A plain earth and B earth plus fibre.
- Step 02
Mix short fibres into B little by little and record the amount. This is not a load-bearing recipe.
- Step 03
Press into equal moulds about 2 cm thick. Level and measure both samples before drying.
- Step 04
Dry side by side in shade, rotating the tray for similar conditions. Measure after fully dry and record cracking without claiming strength.
Check before use
Size, water and drying conditions are comparable; fibre is the variable.
Limits of this project
Not for stoves, buildings or loaded components. Dry fibre burns and damp samples may grow mould.
Take down and restore
Pack out the experiment. Do not bury mixtures containing other additives.
All lashings and racks here are for light objects, never people, climbing or rescue.
