Make it step by step

  1. Step 01

Set the base level and low. Test with an empty container. Water weighs about 1 kg per litre; use a manufactured stand if capacity is uncertain.

Check before use

The container stays put while operating the tap, the tray does not overflow and soap is available.

Limits of this project

Do not put large containers on tall experimental stands. Keep soap out of streams, including biodegradable soap.

Take down and restore

Dispose of wastewater as permitted, clean the container and pack the base.

Practise in an area where building activities are permitted. Bring materials or obtain permission to collect them. Do not cut living trees or dig tent trenches. Take projects apart afterwards.
All lashings and racks here are for light objects, never people, climbing or rescue.
